Redness / Rosacea

Rosacea (roe-ZAY-she-uh) is a common skin condition that causes redness and visible blood vessels in your face. It may also produce small, red, pus-filled bumps. These signs and symptoms may flare up for weeks to months and then go away for a while. Rosacea can be mistaken for acne, other skin problems or natural ruddiness.

Rosacea can affect anyone. But it’s most common in middle-aged women who have light skin. There’s no cure for rosacea, but treatment can control and reduce the signs and symptoms.

Pigmentation / Melasma

Hyperpigmentation is a medical term used to describe darker patches of skin. These patches result from excess melanin production, which can be caused by everything from acne scars and sun damage to hormone fluctuations.

Melasma is a common skin problem. It causes brown to gray-brown patches, usually on the face. Most people get it on their cheeks, bridge of their nose, forehead, chin, and above their upper lip. It also can appear on other parts of the body that get lots of sun, such as the forearms and neck.

Peels

Peels help dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells to allow better exfoliation and sloughing of the outer layers of the skin. The combination of mandelic acid, lactic acid, and other botanical and antioxidant ingredients allows for a deep solution penetration into the skin helping to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. This allows for new skin cells to form and rise to the top of the skin for a glowing and even complexion.

Dermaspark-751

OxyGeneo

During this extremely relaxing treatment your skin is exfoliated while millions of C02 bubbles cause true skin oxygenation. Your skin will be quenched in high-quality, powerful anti-oxidants, nutrient-rich active ingredients that balance skin tone and fades dark spots, reduce inflammation, and stimulates collagen. Best of all, there’s no downtime and your beautiful glow will be immediate.

DermaPen Micro-needling

Dermapen Treatments are highly effective for treating hyperpigmentation, particularly on dark skin colors, where laser treatments may not be the safest option (Due to further pigmentation risks). The treatment creates up to 1,920 fractional microchannels per second into the skin to promote a more balanced and normalized cellular function. As melanocytes (pigment producing cells) are directly targeted, a repair and corrective process encourages an even skin tone creating a radiant appearance.

PRP

PRP injections work by supplying growth factors to reduce pigmentation. A treatment with no downtime, it can be done in conjunction with other treatments for pigmentation/melasma to add and enhance the effects. There are more than 30 bioactive substances, including growth factors, in PRP making it primarily a healing vehicle. The released growth factors have been proven to inhibit melanogenesis — or reverse skin pigmentation — the exact opposite effect of exposure to UV-B radiation. Typically, clients see excellent results with 2-3 PRP injections in the first 3 months.

At-home Skin Care

There are many types of creams and serums that you can use at home as part of your skin care routine to help fade pigmentation, safely and gradually. There are also certain protocols that are recommended prior to certain in-office treatments that will make the treatments that much more effective, and shorten down-time, if any.

However, Melasma is known to recur even after successful treatments. So you must take precautions against it by using sunscreen with broad-spectrum protection and an SPF of 30 or higher. And avoid skin care products that are harsh as they can exacerbate melasma.

Wrinkles / Anti-aging

Wrinkles, a natural part of aging, are most prominent on sun-exposed skin, such as the face, neck, hands and forearms.

Although genetics mainly determine skin structure and texture, sun exposure is a major cause of wrinkles, especially for people with light skin. Pollutants and smoking also contribute to wrinkling.

If your wrinkles bother you, you have more options than ever to help smooth them or make them less visible. Medications, skin-resurfacing techniques, fillers and surgery top the list of effective wrinkle treatments.

Peels

Peels are a skin-resurfacing procedure. They improve the appearance of wrinkled skin by removing the outer layer of old skin. The new skin that replaces it is usually smoother and less wrinkled in appearance.

There are three different levels of strengths, each one targeting specific skin depths. They range from light peels which are used to treat fine wrinkles, large pores, and other superficial skin problems, all the way to deep peels which reach the deep layers of your skin treating the deeper wrinkles, scars or pigmentation, and almost everything in between.

Dermaspark-751

OxyGeneo Treatment

Reduces wrinkles and improves skin texture, while deeply rehydrating and proactively rejuvenates your skin. Using red algae, oxygenation by the Bohr effect, and the infusion of active ingredients, it is the ideal treatment for mature and sensitive skin.

HA Fillers

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar that keeps our skin hydrated and creates volume through its ability to bind water molecules. As we age, our bodies make less hyaluronic acid. Our skin begins to sag and look thinner, losing its radiance and youthful appearance. Hyaluronic acid fillers can help reduce the visible signs of aging. This treatment requires minimal to no downtime, while giving you natural-looking results for lips, tear troughs, cheeks, chin, nose, and jawline.

PRP

PRP provides growth factors that stimulate fibroblast activation, the cells that start collagen production, and induce the synthesis of collagen and other components of the extracellular matrix. The extracellular matrix is scaffold that collagen builds itself on. As a result, PRP produces significant improvements in wrinkles, skin elasticity, and sun damage.

DermaPen Micro-needling

Also known as collagen induction therapy, Dermapen treatments naturally work from within. This minimally invasive treatment creates tiny punctures in the surface of the skin at a controlled depth which triggers your natural wound-healing response, and as a result kick starts the production of your own collagen and elastin. As your skin awakens with new collagen and elastin, your skin becomes smoother and your fine lines and wrinkles diminish.

Acne

Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples. Acne is most common among teenagers, though it affects people of all ages.

Effective acne treatments are available, but acne can be persistent. The pimples and bumps heal slowly, and when one begins to go away, others seem to crop up.

Depending on its severity, acne can cause emotional distress and scar the skin. The earlier you start treatment, the lower your risk of such problems.

Peels

Peels rapidly exfoliate the skin, allowing dead skin cells to shed more effectively. By keeping dead skin cells and excess oil from clogging the hair follicle, pore blockages and pimples can be reduced. More advanced forms of peels can also be used to reduce the appearance of acne scarring.

DermaPen Micro-needling

Dermapen MicroNeedling regenerates the affected area by stimulating the production and distribution of collagen. This is achieved when the 12 or 16 needle cartridge glides over the skin, creating up to 1920 fractional microchannels per second that penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, triggering the body’s natural wound healing response. The result is an overall improvement in the appearance of problematic skin breakouts, black/whiteheads (comedones), acne reduced, and scarring minimized.
